Team TransLash is celebrating Christina Aguilera’s latest news! As Pride Month fills our hearts with excitement for a long-awaited celebration of all of the beautiful colors within our community, Xtina offers an opportunity to level up the experience with a cute outfit that supports your friends here at TransLash!
On May 15th, Christina Aguilera released a post on Instagram to her 7.5 million followers announcing the launch of her Pride collection in a video featuring polaroid images of her and a mannequin wearing the shirt, underwear, and mask (there’s also a sweater on the website!). She said she was both so excited and proud to be supporting TransLash Media, as well as Angelica Ross’ organization Trans Tech Social Enterprises, an online and offline community resource for LGBTQ and trans professionals and job-seekers – two organizations “doing such important work for the community.” 30% of the proceeds goes to our organizations so, be sure to grab a cute mask and sweater while you’re having your self-care shopping spree in preparation for Pride!
In other amazing news, TransLash is a beneficiary of Stonewall Day 2021! Pride Live is hosting a global Livestream event on June 6th, to help raise funds for TransLash and organizations like us and our fight to achieve intersectional liberation for all. #SWD2021 marks the end of the three-day concert event hosted by the award-winning artist series OutLoud: Raising Voices, in partnership with Pride Live.
The concert series will be held live in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, with 3,500 live attendees, as well as being streamed on Twitch. The headliners for each day are all incredibly talented, as well as varied: we kick it off with a DJ set by artist Sofi Tukker on June 4th, followed by Hayley Kiyoko on the 5th, and Adam Lambert as the closing act on the 6th.
